Chad is a co-founder and VP of Business Development for Steelhead, the North American renewable energy development arm of Vestas Wind Systems, the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer. Chad has 25 years of renewable energy experience in the hydrogen fuel cell industry and utility scale wind development spanning engineering design, product development, manufacturing, business strategy, project development, finance, M&A and offtake origination. From 2017 to 2022, Chad oversaw the development from project inception to construction and subsequent sale of the 185MW Delta Wind project – the first utility scale wind asset in the state of Mississippi. Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
